Since 2004, MTV Russia has presented the inaugural MTV Russian Music Awards which is Russia's first awards show to celebrate and reward both local and international acts in the music and video categories. The Artist of the Year from the show becomes the winner of Best Russian Artist on the MTV Europe Music Awards. The MTV Europe Music Awards were established in 1994 by MTV Europe to celebrate the most popular music videos in Europe. ...
