Lupus is a city in Moniteau County, Missouri, United States. The population was 29 at the 2000 census. The city is most well known for its chili festival, held every autmn, which draws several hundred people from the surrounding area. The 1973 musical Tom Sawyer based on Mark Twain's novel was shot partially on location here.
