Later on in the series, Luna gains the ability to turn into a young human girl, played by Rina Koike, who turns out to also be able to become a Sailor Senshi. Actresses

  • In every Japanese broadcast adaptation of Sailor Moon, Luna has been portrayed by Keiko Han. Ironically, Keiko Han also voiced Queen Beryl in the Japanese anime.
  • In the English anime, Luna is voiced by Jill Frappier. Her "old maid" take on Luna is widely derided by fans and did cause its fair share of problems with the third series' corresponding movie, where her human form (one more fitting to someone aged about 20) is revealed.
  • In the musical version, Luna has been played by one actress: Tomoko Ishimura (Ishimura Tomoko).
