Lordstown is a village located in Trumbull County, Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 3,633.
It is best known for the large General Motors assembly plant built there in early 1970s.

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 3,633 people, 1,412 households, and 1,077 families residing in the village. The population density is 60.6/km˛ (157.0/mi˛). There are 1,483 housing units at an average density of 24.8/km˛ (64.1/mi˛). The racial makeup of the village is 95.84% White, 2.89% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.36% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.11% from other races, and 0.72% from two or more races. 0.44% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,412 households out of which 32.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.7% are married couples living together, 9.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 23.7% are non-families. 21.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.57 and the average family size is 2.97.
In the village the population is spread out with 24.0% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 30.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.0% who are 65 years of age or older.
