The list below is of countries of the world sorted by their gross domestic product (GDP), the value of all final goods and services produced within a nation in a given year. GDP dollar estimates here are derived from purchasing power parity (PPP) calculations, calculated by the International Monetary Fund, which were compiled in September 2006, and deals with estimates. The list includes the 2006, 2007 and 2008 list of 171 United Nations member states and Republic of China on Taiwan, Hong Kong (a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China) and the Netherlands Antilles (a constituent part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands) as ranked by the International Monetary Fund. There is no current or accurate information on the UN member states of Iraq, North Korea, Somalia, Andorra, San Marino, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Micronesia, Palau, Marshall Islands, Nauru, and Tuvalu, nor Puerto Rico (a commonwealth of the United States), and Macau (a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China), so they have been excluded in the list.
