The Metropolitan Transportation Authority operates a number of bus routes in the Bronx, New York, United States. Many of them are the direct descendants of streetcar lines (see list of streetcar lines in the Bronx). All local buses are operated by the Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority, while the MTA Bus Company operates express buses (BxM and QBx).
