Biography

Lisa Tucker was raised in Anaheim, California. Her parents are Stanley, who is of African-American descent and Eleanor, who is of Belizean descent. She has two older brothers: Billy and Stanley, Jr.; and a cousin, Tiffany. She starred as "Young Nala" in the Los Angeles production of Disney's The Lion King when she was 10 years old. At 13 years old, Lisa successfully auditioned for Star Search, eventually making it to the finals. She became the runner up to Tiffany Evans[1]. She has performed at numerous city events in Anaheim such as the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast and Flag Day events. [2] Tucker was a senior at John F. Kennedy High School in La Palma during her run on Idol. She attended classes with Paris Bennett and Kevin Covais, returning to Kennedy after her elimination. The following June she graduated in the class of 2006 at Kennedy. She will attend California State University, Fullerton for her Bachelor's of Health Sciences (B.H.Sc.) degree starting in the fall of 2006.
