Plot Summary

The Film is narrated by the Late aspiring artist, Zacharias "Ziggy" Malone (Robert Ri'chard), as he tells us his friends including: Lester DeWitt (Usher Raymond), Stephanie Williams (Rosario Dawson), Rivers "Robert" Tremont (Clifton Collins Jr.), Lynn Tribani (Sara Gilbert), Rodney Templeton (Fredro Starr) all hold up Officer Dante Jackson (Forest Whitaker), after an accidental shooting at their High School in the inner-city of Queens, New York, their Principal Allen Armstrong (Glynn Turman) tries to calm down after the trio demand their teacher Mr. Knowles (Judd Nelson) to be re-hired but strictly suspends Rivers, Stephanie, Lester and Zacharias, but things shake up when Dante decides to arrest him, and when Dante finally holds him down, Zacharias accidently shoots Dante in the leg, and things are really shaken up when every single cop including Detective Audrey McDonald (Vanessa Lynn Williams) are shocked to find out that dispruted teenagers are holding Dante against his will. Things turn out bad when the teenagers hold Officer Jackson (Forest Whitaker) hostage, and the teenagers became international suspects all over New York City, but near at the end of the film, Zacharias (Robert Ri'chard) is killed during a holdup on the roof of the High school, and Lester quietly sobs, and the other teenagers serves time in prison and moves on with their own lives.
