Lapin Kulta (fi: "Gold of Lapland") is the name of a beer brewery in TornioFinland and also the name of its product, Finland's most popular lager.
The brewery was founded in 1873, but the name Lapin Kulta was not adopted until 1969. the brewery had to acquire a gold mine in order to be able under Finnish law to carry the name. For a long time the company described their activities as "gold mining and beer brewing".
Lapin Kulta's focus on high quality ingredients (special malt barley, clear water, and own yeast strain) coupled with successful marketing made it the most popular beer in Finland. After a merger with the Hartwall beverage company in 1980, it entered the export market and by now it is available in most European countries.
Lapin Kulta is said to have an aromatic and fruity nose and a crisp and smooth taste.
The intense flavor and 8% alcoholic content of LapinKulta Strong was innovated with these conditions in mind.
LapinKulta Long-Neck is the world’s most drinkable beer both for its bottle and its taste.
This low-alcohol LapinKulta beer is taxed at the lowest rate, making it an excellent choice for those averse to taxes, driving or just wanting to savor the taste of genuine LapinKulta while keeping a clear head.
