Korolyov or Korolev (Russian: Королёв) is an industrial city in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located at 55°55′N 37°51′E, well-known as the cradle of space exploration. It was originally founded as Kaliningrad, by Russian scientist and academician Sergei Korolev to consolidate the activities of many people in the space exploration programme. Moscow oblast (Моско́вская о́бласть) is an administrative subdivision of Russia officially established on January 14, 1929. ...
