Kornel David (born October 22, 1971 in Nagykanizsa, Hungary) is the first and only Hungarian basketball player who has ever played in the NBA. He has played for four teams between 1998 and 2001. Signed by the Chicago Bulls on October 1, 1997, waived on October 28. Signed again by the Bulls on January 21, 1999, waived later and bounced around the league over the next two years playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors and finally traded to the Detroit Pistons. He played 109 NBA games, starting 11, averaging 5.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
