The brother of child actor Macaulay Culkin, Kieran Culkin was born in New York City, New York. He debuted at the age of eight in a small role alongside his starring brother in Home Alone. He played his brother's cousin, Fuller. Kieran continued acting as a child and teenager, mainly working in comedy films, including Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and Father of the Bride and its sequel. As a teenager, Kieran switched between lead roles in independent films, and small parts in mainstream films. His most notable role to date was probably the lead in the well received art house film, Igby Goes Down, for which Kieran was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
