Houston, who was selected to 12 Pro Bowls, spent his first six seasons (1967 to '72) with Houston before the rebuilding Oilers traded him to Washington, where he became a captain and defensive signal-caller.
The only thing missing from Houston's resume was a championship, though he was a member of the Oilers team that lost to Oakland in the 1967 AFL title game.
