Working in the tradition of her influences Paul Rand and Saul Bass, Julia has combined her designer’s eye and whimsical illustration style. She has created brands for clients ranging from fashion and food to institutional. Julia is a noted illustrator of children’s picture books. She wrote and illustrated Big Bug Surprise published by Scholastic Inc. She has illustrated numerous children’s books including Princess Penelope, and Princess Penelope Takes Charge. Julia’s illustrations can be seen internationally in books, magazines, newspapers, and advertising.

Julia’s work has appeared in numerous exhibits and she has won a variety awards for design and illustration.
