Jarella is a fictional character from Marvel Comics. She was one of the Hulk's girlfriends, whom he almost married. She is the queen of the planet K'ai, a world of green-skinned humanoids located in a microverse. Sorcerers of her court conduct a chant so that Bruce Banner can be in control of the Hulk body and he agrees to marry Jarella. Jarella dies when trying to save a boy from being crushed under a falling building. The Hulk takes Jarella's body to the Gamma Base, but the doctors are unable to revive her. Visis (K'Ai, Microverse, Hulk foe) (967 words)
Jarella escaped with the Hulk, and soon rallied her forces to oppose Visis' army.
Realizing what was happening Jarella had the Sorcerers reverse their spell, restoring the mind of the savage Hulk, who feared nothing--and so the object of his greatest fear then ceased to exist.
While Visis is referred to as Jarella's cousin, I'd hope that this is a term for the Royal Family and may be used for distant relations.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #205 (1906 words)
Jarella says that her world is so primitive next to his, and that each discovery she makes is more amazing than the last.
Jarella says that there is nowhere to run and that she will face what is to come like a queen.
Jarella hasn’t been in many of the Hulk issues, but as a friend/lover of the Hulk she is a unique character.
