James B. McCreary

McCreary ( July 8, 1838-Oct. 8, 1918 ),37th Governor of Kentucky, was first a Representative, then a State Senator before becoming Governor from March 4,1903 through March 3, 1909. After his term as Governor, McCreary made several re-election atempts at both Governor and the senate but was unsuccessful. He returned to the practice of Law. McCreary was born and died in Richmond, KY
