Controversy

Some passengers, especially those of Arab origin, consider that the security policies implemented on Israir flights are 'racist' and unjustified. This is because they feel that they are being picked upon by Israeli security guards because of their racial origin unjustly. [3]

The Center Against Racism and the Arab Association for Human Rights also published a report in December 2006, with financial funding from the European Union, about the gravity and unfairness of passenger profiling on flights operated by Israir, amongst other Israeli airlines. [4]
