I am asking because in the past many people with similar pro-business views were isolationists, and isolationism has proven to be impractical as well as dangerous (imagine the US deciding not to get involved against Hitler.
Sadly, on this issue, America is intellectually bankrupt, as the ideas it exports to other countries tend to be anti-American, Leftist ones, i.e., racist ideas that lead to global balkanization, such as mutliculturalism.
