Interstate 526 (abbreviated I-526) or the Mark Clark Expressway is an unfinshed beltway Interstate Highway of Interstate 26 in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. It forms a 19.26 miles half-circle around Charleston, with the western terminus at U.S. Highway 17 west of the Ashley River, and the eastern terminus also at U.S. Highway 17, on a section co-signed with U.S. Route 701 east of the Cooper River. Both of those sections go north around Charleston and meet up at Interstate 26 near the Charleston International Airport. U.S. Highway 52 and U.S. Highway 78 intersect with Interstate 526 nearby. 526 is about to be extended so that it will form three fourths of a circle around Charleston.
