Interstate 390 an Interstate Highway that is located entirely in the state of New York. I-390 runs for 76 miles north-south from Rochester, New York to the small town of Avoca, New York, where it meets I-86. It largely replaced U.S. Highway 15 in upstate New York. The northern terminus of I-390 is at Interstate 490 (Western Expressway) in Rochester. It continues on, as New York State Highway 390 up to the Lake Ontario State Parkway, which runs along the coast of New York State on Lake Ontario. Just south of Rochester it intersects with Interstate 90, also known as the New York State Thruway A typical rural stretch of Interstate Highway, with two lanes in each direction separated by a large grassy median, and with cross-traffic limited to overpasses and underpasses. ...
