When a business, company or industry has the opportunity to go beyond its domestic market to sell in some other country, one speaks of it entering the international market. For example, suppose the US shoe industry wants to enter the German market.
To enter the international market, a company must: study the international market sector to see whether it can be done; and decide on the likely return on the required investment.
The objectives of the ISE InternationalMarket are to encourage the flow of international capital to the ISE and to provide a transparent and secure trading environment for securities issued in internationalmarkets.
The InternationalMarket consists of two sub-markets: The ISE IM Depositary Receipts Market where the shares are traded; The ISE IM International Bonds and Bills Market where debt instruments are traded.
International Bonds and Bills Market has a semi-automated trading system where members deliver their orders via telephone to an ISE Expert, who acts as a "blind broker", then the received order is entered into the computer system by the Expert.
Also, many note that such features, including the increase in international trade and the greater role of multinational corporations, are not as deeply established as they may appear.
Some maintain that globalization is an imagined geography; that is, a political tool of ruling neo-liberalists, who are attempting to use certain images and discourses of world politics to justify their political agendas.
In the field of management, globalization is a marketing or strategy term that refers to the emergence of internationalmarkets for consumer goods characterized by similar customer needs and tastes enabling, for example, selling the same cars or soaps or foods with similar ad campaigns to people in different cultures.
