Ialomiţa is a Romanian county (Judeţ) in the Wallachia region, with the capital city at Slobozia (population: 56,913). Its common abbreviation is IL.

Geography

This county has a total area of 4,453 km². Its east border is on Danube and the Ialomiţa river cross it from west to east about the middle.
