The IAAF World Junior Championships in Athletics are the world championships open for junior age (<20 years) athletes, organized by the International Association of Athletics Federations. It is held biennially since 1986. The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is the international governing body for the sport of athletics (known in the US as track and field).
