Master P recently launched a new film company by the name of in association with HollyHood Cinema (H. Hood) that will release direct-to-DVDs in association with UrbanWorks Entertainment. Its first products will be the carry-on of the storylines of the old No Limit films. I Got the Hook Up 2 is currently in pre-production and will star Silkk Tha Shocker and MP's son Lil' Romeo as well as other Gutta Music artists. Accompanying soundtrack album is under recording. With P as screenwriter, the comedy in this urban caper is uniformly "fl," in the cultural sense, from start to finish: frequently off-color and often manic, with the pace at least a couple steps quicker than that of the mainstream.
Hook Up While his rapping mostly consists of scattershot deliveries and the constant use of the moan "ugghh," P's knack for dropping catchy phrases over rhythm tracks ("How ya do that dere" has got to be Louisianan patois) is remarkable, to say the least.
