Bennett represented Wales at both under-19 and under-21 level. He made his debut for Wales against Ireland in 2003, and he was then included in the squad for the 2003 World Cup in Australia. He played in the games against Canada and Tonga. In 2004 he played against Scotland and France in the 2004 Six Nations Championship. He was also named in Mike Ruddock's first Wales squad, for the 2004 tour to Argentina and South Africa. Bennett's only international start came in the second Test victory over Argentina. He played against Argentina in June of 2006 during the summer tour. The 2004 Six Nations Championship was the fifth series of the rugby union Six Nations Championship to be held since the competition expanded in 2000 to include Italy. ...
