She is capable of playing a variety of roles, ranging from young boys to feminine women. Kuwashima is currently affiliated with Aoni Production. Kuwashima Houko (331 words)
Kuwashima Houko's seiyuu debuting role was the klutzy captain in the hit anime Martian Successor Nadesico.  With the popularity of the show, she quickly gain recognition and popularity.  Her next role as Filia in Slayers Try only added to her popularity and proved her talent as a seiyuu.
Kuwashima Houko is currently one of the hottest 4th generation seiyuu, and one of my favorite seiyuu.
On the music side, Houko is also a pretty decent singer, it is a shame that she stated personally that for the time being that she'll concentrate only in voice acting work.
