The Fuji TV headquarters in Odaiba is known for its eccentric architecture.

Fuji Television Network, Inc. (abbreviated name: CX, Japanese: 株式会社フジテレビジョン Fuji Terebijon) is a Japanese television network based in Odaiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. It is known as Fuji TV (フジテレビ Fuji Terebi). It is the key TV station of Fuji News Network (FNN) and Fuji Network System (FNS, フジネットワーク).


History of Fuji TV

Fuji TV started to broadcast on March 1, 1959, and made a network of exchanging news with local stations with the name of FNN (Fuji News Network). On March 10, 1997, the main office moved from Kawadacho, Shinjuku-ku to Odaiba, Minato-ku.

Anime for children

This channel broadcasts or has broadcasted the Japanese versions (i.e. the original productions in nearly all of the programs mentioned below) of the children's series:

  • Super News (1998.4-Present) - Evening news program.
    • FNN Super Time(1984.10-1996.3) - Evening news program.
  • News Japan (1994.4-Present) - Night news program.

  • Toribia no Izumi (Spike TV apparently plans to produce an American version of "Hey! Spring of Trivia".)

Reality Television

  • Ainori (?-Still being aired as of 2004) - Dating program that takes place on a pink bus traveling the world.
