Francis "Frank" Martin is a fictional character portrayed by Troy Evans on the television show ER. Frank Martin first appears in the pilot episode as a Police Officer who has been shot. In the sixth season he returns to the show as a desk clerk in the ER. In the tenth season he has a heartattack. In this viewers gained an insight to Franks life outside the ER, including the fact that he has a mentally challenged daughter named Janie.
