Four Days in September is a Brazilian film by Bruno Barreto. The 1997 was based on the 1979 memoir "O Que e Isso Companheiro?" by Fernando Gabeira. The film tells the story of the abduction of US ambassador Charles Burke Elbrick in 1969 by the revolutionary group MR8. The movie was nominated for many awards including Best Foreign Language Film by the Academy Awards.
