Forks Township is a township in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, USA. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 407.


According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 113.7 km˛ (43.9 mi˛). 113.6 km˛ (43.9 mi˛) of it is land and 0.1 km˛ (0.04 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 0.05% water.


As of the census2 of 2000, there are 407 people, 171 households, and 122 families residing in the township. The population density is 3.6/km˛ (9.3/mi˛). There are 401 housing units at an average density of 3.5/km˛ (9.1/mi˛). The racial makeup of the township is 99.51% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.25% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.25% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 171 households out of which 24.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.5% are married couples living together, 7.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.1% are non-families. 22.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.38 and the average family size is 2.72.
