Encyclopedia > Field Mice

This article is about the creatures from Oz; The Field Mice is the band of that name.

The Field Mice are fictional intelligent creatures — field mice — that live just outside the Emerald City of the Land of Oz.

They help Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion to escape the sleep-inducing poppy fields in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and in the retaking of the Emerald City in The Marvelous Land of Oz. They are ruled by a queen.
