The Examination Yuan (考試院) is one of five government branches of the Republic of China and is in charge of validating the qualification of civil servants. It is one of the five government branches ("yuans") of the ROC government mandated by the Three Principles of the People. The Examination Yuan is based on the old Imperial examination system used in China.
