Everett Washington real estate agent offers Everett homes for sale (1144 words)
Everett was originally envisioned by Henry Hewitt and intended to be an industrial juggernaut.
Only two years after the incorporation of the Everett Land Company, the town teemed with developments: shipyards, street railroads, hotels, a paper mill, a nail factory, and a smelter to process the minerals that were, hopefully, on the way.
Everett suffered a ghastly depression: three out of its five banks closed, schools shut, mills were abandoned, the smelter was destroyed, and the price of timber remained in the gutter.
The Seattle Times: Sports: Silvertips win, clinch series (649 words)
Even with the victory by Everett, the second time in the franchise's two-season history it has won a Game 7 (the Silvertips won a Game 7 last year in Kelowna), visiting teams are 12-36 in such games in WHL history.
Everett coach Kevin Constantine, who said his team has felt comfortable on the road, singled out Wall as a key to the series.
Leavitt gave the Silvertips a 3-1 lead with a breakaway goal in the third period, and Everett was able to survive an all-out Portland assault.
