The Dreameye was a digital camera released for the Dreamcast home video console by Sega, The Dreameye was a digital camera which came with Visual Park software. It was designed to be used as a webcam, and a digital camera. There were plans for games to involve the dreameye. the dreameye did directly influenced the Eye Toy which later came out on Sony's PS2. The Dreameye came with a microphone headset, a stand, batteries, software, a cable to connect the dreameye to the dreamcast and a dreameye memory card. The Dreameye had a 300,000 pixel resolution, but due to limitations on the memory card, the images would be re-sized when they were uploaded to PC. The Dreameye was only ever released in Japan.
