Diabolus in Musica is the eighth album by the thrash metal band Slayer. It was released June 9, 1998 through American Recordings. This is the third album Slayer released with Paul Bostaph as the drummer. While criticized by some as containing nu-metal elements, the album is largely thrash-based, and contains ample double-bass drum, thrash riffs, and traditional riffs, separating it from true nu-metal.
