The Desautels Faculty of Management is one of the constituent faculties of McGill University. Founded in 1920 as the McGill School of Commerce, the faculty offers a range of undergraduate and graduate-level business programs including the Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, and Doctor of Philosophy in management degrees. In 2005, the Faculty of Management was named in honour of Marcel Desautels, a retired executive from the credit reference industry, who made a gift of $22 million to the faculty. It was the single largest donation to a Canadian business school.
