Decade of Aggression is a double live album by Slayer and was released in 1991 through Def American Records (later renamed to American Recordings). Many of the band's fans view this album as the ultimate testament to Slayer's precise musicianship, with very little difference between the live and studio versions of the songs. On 4 December 2006, the General Assembly again stated that the objective of the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-violence for the Children of the World is to further strengthen the global movement for a culture of peace (resolution 61/45).
The Assembly proclaimed the International Decade in 1998, following the observance of the International Year for the Culture of Peace in 2000 (resolution 53/25 of 10 November).  It invited non-governmental organizations, religious bodies and groups, educational institutions, artists and the media to support the Decade for the benefit of every child of the world.

Although aggression and violence involving youth is hardly a new phenomenon in the United States, both the quantity and quality of aggression have undergone dramatic change in the past decade.
Aggression is a normal part of growing up and is expected in certain forms at certain stages in a child's life.
Parents should also be aware of what types of passive aggression their children are exposed to, limit exposure, talk to them about it, explain their views, and discuss ways of handling it.
