The Dead Moon Circus was lead by Zirconia and their mission was to find the guardian of Earth, Pegasus. After many failed attempts, Zirconia allowed the Amazon Quartet exterminate the Trio and take over. It was learned that Pegasus carried the Golden Crystal and that their ruler, Queen Nehellenia, wanted this powerful item. With it she could break free of her entrapment and take over the Earth. The was thwarted by the Sailor Senshi and she was returned to her banishment inside her mirror.
