Dave Clark (born 1942) is a British musician, best known as the drummer and leader of the 1960s group, The Dave Clark Five.


Clark was also responsible for the West End musical, Time.

Clarke was advised by his school careers office to become a software engineer but his parents had split and family life was unbearable so, at 16, he ran away from home.
