Dan Barreiro is a sports radio talk-show host on KFAN 1130-AM in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. Born in Gary, Indiana, Barreiro was a sports columnist at the Star Tribune for 17 years after previously working at the Dallas Morning News. Barreiro left the Star Tribune in March 2004 to focus primarily on his radio show Bumper to Bumper, which airs from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. CST weekdays and frequently discusses topics other than sports. Other on-air personalities during the show include Joe Anderson, known as "Mr. Phunn," and producer Cory Roufs. Barreiro began his career at KFAN partnered on-air with Chad Hartman, the son of longtime Star Tribune columnist Sid Hartman, and Chad Hartman now hosts the show leading into Barreiro's.
