Dahntay Lavall Jones (born December 27, 1980 in Trenton, New Jersey) is a professional basketball player in the NBA. Originally a student at Rutgers University, Dahntay transferred to Duke University to play with his boyhood Jersey friend Jay Williams who encouraged him to join him in North Carolina. He was a first round draft choice of the Boston Celtics in the 2003 NBA Draft. He has played his entire pro career for the Memphis Grizzlies, averaging 3.7 points per game.
