The song is a slow ballad about the love that "Could've Been". One may think that someone Tiffany's age would not know about love but she recorded the track to prove people wrong. She also wanted to release the song to show off her vocal talent. Her label and manager, George Tobin felt concern that she was not old or mature enough to handle such a song. In the end Tiffany won her case and the song was recorded and put on her debut album and became the third single.
