It arises from the lateral border of the coracoid process, and passes obliquely downward and lateralward to the front of the greater tubercle of the humerus, blending with the tendon of the supraspinatus muscle. In human beings, the coracoid process is a small hook-like structure that comes off the scapula to point forward. ...
