Established in October 22, 1979, the Command Bus Company was one of several Franchised-Owned bus carriers in New York City that was part of a family business. It was referred to as a Private Bus line (PBL) to the public and Jerome Cooper operated the company. It's facility is located on Flatlands Avenue east of Crescent Street in the Spring Creek neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Command was taken over by MTA Bus on December 5, 2005 and has been renamed the Spring Creek Bus Depot. After the takeover, most, if not all of the fleet is/was expected to be retired and replaced.
