Clyde Littlefield(October 6, 1892 to May 20, 1981) was the head football coach at Texas from 1927 to 1933. During his tenure, he compiled a 44-18-6 record, including 2 Southwest Conference championships. The University of Texas System comprises fifteen educational institutions in Texas, of which nine are general academic universities, and six are health institutions. ...


He graduated from South Park High School, and later Texas. At Texas, he played football, basketball, and track. From 1916 to 1920, he served as the head football coach at Greenville High School]]. He coached Track at Texas, and became one of the greatest Track coaches in NCAA history. In his 41 years of coaching Track, his teams won 25 conference championships.
