Chester County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
Chester County was one of the three original counties of Pennsylvania created by William Penn in 1682.
In the county, the population was spread out with 26.20% under the age of 18, 7.90% from 18 to 24, 30.40% from 25 to 44, 23.80% from 45 to 64, and 11.70% who were 65 years of age or older.

Today, Chester County is probably best remembered for the battles that were fought here, and the famous troops and war leaders that have left their indelible marks on the war-scarred landscape.
Chester County's remarkable beauty has come to inspire such celebrated Chester County artists as, Richard Bollinger, Peter Sculthorpe and Andrew Wyeth, winner of the 1963 Presidential Freedom Award and the first living American artist to be elected to Britain's Royal Academy.
