Lopez@Large: Conehead and the Heisman question (413 words)
I didn't recognize former Astro Charlie Kerfeld at the Astros game Monday night, but after realizing it was him, I had a chance to talk with him for a while.
Kerfeld, a live wire who donned a Conehead hat in the bullpen among other places during the Astros' famous 1986 run to the NLCS, also once came running out of the dugout to give Ryan a hug.
One other interesting thing you may not have known about Kerfeld: His heart was as big as his living and his stature (6-6, 275-pounds at one point).
