Evelyn "Evi" Carnahan

Beni Gabor

He is Rick's old Hungarian war buddy who abandoned Rick during a battle with desert raiders. He leads a group of Americans to Hamunaptra, but while there betrays them and begins to work for Imhotep after being promised treasure. Eventually, he is devoured by scarab beetles. Ironically, he dies in the temple's treasure chamber, surrounded by his desires.

Evelyn O'Connell

In the Mummy Returns, Rick is married to Evi & they have a son named Alex. Evi discovers that she is the reincarnation of Nefetiri, an ancient Egyptian Princess.

Mathayus (Scorpion King)

The Scorpion King is a minor character in The Mummy Returns. He appears at the beginning of the film and in the climax. Imhotep tricks him into fighting with Rick. Eventually Rick kills him with a spear and Imhotep returns to the underworld when he realises that Anch-su-namun did not truly love him.
