Cervinia is a well-organized resort, offering the tourist any sort of accommodation, sporting facilities and recreational opportunities. It has some very long ski runs (the longest, the Ventina glacier ski run, reaches some 27 kms [17 mi] overall) for any level of skill, from beginners to advanced.

A panorama of high, glaciated mountains surrounds the valley where the bustling little town has been expanding in the last decades.
