Trans-Neptunian object - TvWiki, the free encyclopedia (822 words)
A trans-Neptunian object (TNO) is any object in the solar system which orbits the sun at a greater distance on average than Neptune.
It is difficult to estimate the diameter of TNOs.
TNOs are so far from the Sun that they are very cold, hence produce fl-body radiation around 60 micrometres in wavelength.
